The Newport Harbor Sailing Foundation was founded by local sailors who believe the sport of sailing has many lifelong impacts – competition, sportsmanship, passion, discipline, responsibility, and camaraderie.
Over the past ten years, the Foundation has supported over 1,000 grant applications across many disciplines of the sport including junior sailing, high school sailing, Olympic sailing and other international sailing efforts.
The Newport Harbor Sailing Foundation grants are designed to cultivate, develop, and enhance the sport of sailing. The Foundation supports these efforts by providing grants to help offset the cost of travel and competition for sailors competing in regional, national and international regattas.
The Newport Harbor Sailing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 33-0759152). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
