The C420 Midwinter regatta was a thrilling experience. My crew (Cash Espinoza) and I had fun every single day we were there. The wind was ruthless. So much so that the main sheet burned through my hand, but it was worth it. We got to enjoy the company of many of our friends every day of the regatta. We had a blast facing the long races and the extremely warm water. After sailing, all of our friends went to the same hotel, and we all enjoyed the large hot tub. The competition was stiff, but it didn’t keep us from having fun. I am grateful to all the volunteers who made this regatta happen.

The C420 Midwinter regatta was an unforgettable experience. My skipper (Conrad Cook) and I had fun and made many memories every single day we were there.

There was a lot of wind and some rain. To the point where my glove ripped due to the water and friction of the spin sheets.

We had the pleasure of spending time with many friends throughout the regatta. The long races and the incredibly warm water made for an exciting challenge. After sailing, we all gathered at the same hotel, grabbed up a bunch of cookies that were supplied, and we relaxed and enjoyed the spacious hot tub together.

The competition was tough, but it didn’t keep us from having fun. I am grateful to all the volunteers who made this regatta happen and all the parents who went out of their way to help all the sailors.
