Thank you for your continued support of the Newport Harbor High School Sailing Team. Your help has allowed our team to continually compete at the national level and constantly show that we are one of the top teams in the nation.
This year’s Mallory Championship is the most recent example of this. With your support, our team was able to send 8 sailors to Lake Wood Yacht Club in Texas. We all had a great time competing in the Texas heat and humidity in difficult and extremely puffy conditions. Although we did not perform as well as we had hoped, we still ended up 12th in the Nation. We also gained great experience for our team that will be able to have 7 out of 8 of the sailors we sent return next year.
